07/29/2010 - Washington DC — South Dakota Senior Senator Tim Johnson says Thursday that the full Senate Appropriations committee passed the 2011 Labor, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Education Appropriations bill. The bill includes $3.75 million in Johnson-secured funding for South Dakota projects.
The bill funds a number of projects in Eastern South Dakota. Here in the west, the South Dakota-specific project secured by Senator Johnson includes the Oglala Sioux Tribe Ambulance Building to be built in Pine Ridge, for around $250,000.
